10 best Coffee Shops in Mexico City to work as a Digital Nomad
As a coffee addict, I always have a running list of all the coffee spots I want to try. I also love wandering through a city on foot to discover new places. I have prepared a list of my favorite & best coffee shops in Mexico City (D.F.), where you can work in optimal conditions: good food & coffee, good environment, fast WiFi and like minded people.
Forte
This hipster cafe, with textured walls and a concrete bar, serves excellent coffee and the best pastries in Mexico City (trust me I am French). The place is cosy, has very chilled vibes and also has tables outside.
You will notice the barista passion when they make your coffee; no matter what to order, they will guide you.

Café Curado
You can find the Café Curado in La Roma Norte, in a quiet and tree-lined street, away from the city chaos.
It is a place where, in addition to tasting a very good cup of coffee, you can eat well (get the chilaquiles!) and sit down to work or talk in comfort.
This cafe looks quite a classic from the outside, having an eye-catching terrace and a classy interior design.
But, surprise! At the back of the café, you can find a meeting room that can be booked by the hour (pro tip : book online 24 hours in advance), with large tables and comfortable pull-out desk chairs. It feels like you are in a co-working space, within the cosy charm of a small café.

Dosis café is a bright and modern coffeehouse, located in the colorful La Roma, the hipster heart of Mexico City.
You can taste some seriously good avocado toasts & brownies, delicious coffee, and listen to a good playlist : perfect to focus.
Sometimes, you will also receive the visit of mariachis, that will give you a taste of the local folklore.

Chiquitito Café
This cute little café is located in La Condesa, a cool and chic neighbourhood, surrounded by Art Deco masterpieces and beautiful purple tree-lined streets in February and March.
Chiquitito serves a good coffee, with an nice interior design that invites you to sit down to talk or read a book.

Freims is a pleasant and stylish cafe restaurant, where you can enjoy a good coffee and work in peaceful environment.
If you enjoy working with some sunlight, you will find at the back of the restaurant a large backyard surrounded by trees.
In the indoor area, you can also sit comfortably and discover a selection of vinyls, LP’s and books from independent publishers.

Quentin Café
With its neat interior design, Quentin Café is a perfect place to enjoy a delicious coffee and pastries, indoors or outdoors on a small terrace, which overlooks the street. Quentin café has three branches in Mexico City, two of which are perfect for digital nomads. The other café (Avenida Yucatan) only offers take-away products.
The plus of Quentin café is their good playlist – I spent most my time on Shazam. 🙈

Almanegra café
The coffee shop is located among the architectural gems of La Roma, not far from the peaceful square Rio de Janeiro and its witches house. ✨ You will find the entrance thanks to a small sign and the majestic cactus right in front.
This is a minimalist and modern place, with a bar at the bottom of the room, and a few high and low tables to be able to sit comfortably.
Sit and relax, while the baristas will pour you a good cup of coffee.
