Tanya, what does writing the blog mean to you and why did you become an entrepreneur in the first place?
I started my blog in 2017 when I became pregnant with my first son. I am a full-on content creator now and it is so much fun! I talk about sustainability a lot.
What is your business about? How did you come across your idea?
All about motherhood lifestyle & making changes to become more sustainable.
Our world is only getting worse with climate change. Every little bit helps regardless of how small the change is your family makes.
Since you are also a mom…
How do you balance your personal and professional life?
It’s always a juggling act. That’s why it’s nice to have the flexibility. 🤹♀️
Have you made any adjustments to your personal and professional life to juggle these two roles?
I like to batch create when I can. Makes juggling the two a lot easier.
What is the greatest obstacle you have faced in achieving the success you desire? How do you overcome it?
I can’t say I’ve faced too many obstacles because I don’t have a set goal for what I am doing. It’s really a go with the flow.
I’ve been lucky to be able to not stress about finances and making ends meet. I’ve actually decided to take on less this year and focus more on my family & kids.
What are the things that help you stay organized throughout the day and get time for everyone and everything? Is there a special time planner, or workspace design, or technique that you use?
Tell us your time management secrets!
I won’t lie, I’m poor at time management most of the time. However, I always make it work.
I am very much in the chaos with two toddlers. It helps to be a night owl!
Any recommendations to Moms who dream about being entrepreneurs, but just can’t get started?
Push yourself. It may seem like a lot to get started but dedication, consistency, and quality over quantity is key.
